Sloths are tree dwelling mammals, that are native to South and Central America. They are normally 50cm to 70 cm long, and weigh 4.5kg to 6kg. Their colors are usually tan, white, brown, and gray, and have thick knotted fur. Sloths can live anywhere from 25 to 40 years, most of that time is spent sleeping and eating. Sloths live in tall trees in tropic rain forests, and hold on to branches with their sharp claws and long limbs. Sloths are omnivores, but rarely eat meat, as their diet is mainly made up of leaves, buds, and fruit. Their main predators are eagles, snakes, and jaguars.
